Topshop Celestial NOTD.

Hey Guys!
Last week-end I was in Oxford Street for a bit and popped into Topshop as you do, I went to their make-up section and picked up this blue nail polish. I really liked how pale the blue was, when painted it is slightly darker but it looks really nice and I can see myself wearing Celestial a lot in the Spring/Summer months!
Topshop Celestial
What it looks like on, I applied two coats of the nail polish so that the colour really comes out and it has a double coating as well as applying a clear coat on top.

Today I painted my nails and decided to give Celestial a go and I'm very happy with my purchase, I'm a fan on the Topshop nail polishes as they have a very good range of colours and the nail polish in my experience lasts quite well and doesn't chip.

Topshop Celestial - £5

Hope you guys have a great day!

Topshop's Crescent Moon Highlighter Review.

Hey Guys!
Hope you're all doing well; a while back I had a haul and a few people mentioned wanting to try the Topshop Crescent Moon Highlighter so now that I've used it over the past few weeks I thought I'd review the highlighter.
Ok first of all can I start with the packaging? The packaging is so simple but the stars across it make it feel very Christmasy; which is probably why I like it so much. I like how Topshop are quite simply flawless with the packaging of majority of their products, this highlighter being no exception, it is sleek and lightweight as well as being quite stylish; I wouldn't mind being seen with it in my possession; it's not offensive or off putting in anyway.
When I bought Crescent Moon I was slightly sceptical of  whether or not I'd like it; I've tried highlighters in the past but they have been nothing special or too shimmery for my liking. To my pleasant surprise I'm really enjoying using the new Topshop highlighter, I apply using my ring finger and lightly tap across my cheek bones and a very small bit on my brow bone using a thin eye liner brush.
What I like about Crescent Moon is it is very suitable for the A/W period; I think that the gold tones and lightly dusted shimmer adds good definition to the face and brightens up the face more, I've used this pretty much ever since I bought it; I can wear it at school lightly and on a normal weekend build it slightly more if I want to; the only time I wouldn't use a highlighter would be if my face was slightly sore/red as the highlighter would draw more attention to it.
Not exactly a con to the product but something I will they had was a mirror; it would have been the perfect product if there was, however considering that it only cost me £10 and there is a lot of product I cannot complain much.

I think that Crescent Moon would suit most skin types and tones; the product itself if very versatile, day or night; summer or winter, for the price paid I can't complain, I never thought that I would add a highlighter to my everyday make-up routine but I have!

July Favourites.

Hey Guys!
July is almost over, so that means it's favourites time! I didn't think I was going to do a favourites this month because I feel like I'm using the same products I used last month, however when I thought about the products that I've been loving recently it became apparent that my favourites this month are either newly bought in the month or products I've started to reuse again!

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation - After all the hype about this product and wanting to try a new foundation I gave in, which I'm happy I did, it gives good coverage and has a dewy finish that makes the skin glow.

Bobbi Brown Corrector - A product I have neglected for a little while, after finally admitting to myself that the collection concealer is not for me I went back to my true favourite, I rarely use concealer but when I do this covers any imperfections amazingly.

Origins Perfect World Moisturiser - This was in my favourites last month too, all I can say is it is amazing and does what it says on the packaging ( an antioxidant and keeps the skin looking fresh and clearer)

Topshop Head Over Heels and MAC Blushbaby - My current favourite blushers, you can read my full review of Head Over Heels here but it is a lovely fresh coral, and Blushbaby I love to use at the top of my cheek to give a slight contour effect.

Have a lovely day guys, and if you haven't already you can enter my giveaway HERE to win 5 beautiful Model's Own Nail Polish's!

Topshop Head Over Heels Blusher.

Hey Guys!

I have a review that I've been excited to write up and pretty much knew I would blog about the moment I bought it! The other week I was shopping and saw this lovely Topshop blusher in the shade Head Over Heels and I have wanted to try one of Topshop's blush's for a while so decided to give it a go.
This Topshop blusher is a créme blusher which means that the blusher generally has a more natural and dewy finish to it. I would definitely agree with this, the coral toned blusher is very natural looking meaning that building it is very easy and more versatile as I can op to use it lightly creating a light wash of coral or a more full on face of blusher which creates an elegant glow to the face.
Swatched above you can see that the blusher is a coral toned and I would say it would suit pale-olive skin tones the best. I have worn Head Over Heels everyday bar one since purchasing it and I have noticed it lasts quiet well, from my 6 am wake up till around mid-day when I will reapply powder as well as blush, considering that this is a créme blush and the fact that I am practically running around all day I would have assumed that it would easily fade and wipe off but I was very much mistaken.
Also I have noticed that the blusher has a slight shimmer in it, it is in no way obvious as I only realised this yesterday, I assume that the shimmer adds more of a glow which is good if you are looking for that.
I apply the blusher with my newly bought Real Techniques Stippling Brush and the two work wonders with one another, they seem a perfect fit, also applying is made even more easy as the lovely Topshop packaging includes a mirror.

Overall I think it is quiet obvious I love this blusher, I really cannot think of anything wrong with it what so ever, I would recommend this to anyone and really want to try another Topshop blush!

Topshop's Head Over Heels can be purchased from Topshop for £6.

Have a lovely day,

June Favourites.

Origins-A Perfect World Moisturizer and Benefit-Porefessional.
My two favourite skin products of the month, the origins moisturizer is the best product ever..it really does clear and help protect skin against antioxidants and the Porefessional does a really good job at making skin look more flawless.
Mac-Blushbaby, Rimmel London-Stay Matte Powder, Fratboy-theBlam.
I love the combination of using Blushbaby and theBalm, they go really well together. Stay Matte is the perfect translucent powder without paying a fortune.
Jimmy Choo and Benefit-So hooked on Carmella perfume's.
Carmella a well known favourite in the blogging and youtube world is a lovely coconut scented perfume and with it being summer I love to use it, even if the weather isn't all that. Jimmy Choo is that perfume that ever girl has that makes her feel a million pounds and this would be my one.
I won't say much about the MUA palette as I have already done a full review of it here and the Topshop necklace I found in the sale a few weeks back and everyday I go out (when I'm out of uniform) I where it, it is such a versatile piece and go with everything!

So that's this months favourites, have you tried any of the products I've mentioned? What are your favourite products of the month?
