Le Review : Benefit- Hervana

Benefit: Hervana - £23.50

First appearance mean everything for make-up, the packaging has to be down to a t and obviously the colouring has to be appealing. For me these boxes have been ticked, compared to the old blush packaging Benefit have made a change in the right direction, the product seems more compact and the fact that there is a small mirror is a plus. Also I love how different the blush is, the design of the four colours is simple, non offencive but cute and creative at the same time.
There is an angled brush that comes with it too but I'm never really one for using brushes that come with the product. I did think that it may be slightly awkward to apply, what I mean is I thought that one cheek would come out darker than the other due to my bad ability to swish the colours around, however I should not have been alarmed as it was not hard at all, and I may feel a tad silly for thinking otherwise...
You could try to use the colours separately, the lightest colour could be used as a highlighter just as the other three shades could be used as individual  blushes, but seeing as I have not tried this for myself as the colours colours are small, I don't think I should really review what that is like. However I can confirm that a swish around all four of the colours gives off a lovely blossom pink colour. I personally thought that the combination of the pale beige, coral, peach and plum shades would look a bit darker, but I'm happy that its not. It also lasts a long time during the day, I've worn it while out shopping and when I come home it's still there, so I don't have to worry about re-applying. My only negative is the price, at £23.50 it's a bit of a lot to pay, considering that my mac foundation is cheaper than this, never the less I think it's worth the money, and I'd recommend it to anyone, there is a lot of product in the box and is one of those blushers that you can where any day you'd like as it's pretty complementary of any season and attempted look. I love Benefit blush's and can't wait to see what they bring out next.

What do you think of Hervana?
